Nominating Committee Report

The Nominating Committee report to the Capital Area Federal Credit Union for April 13, 2022.

There are two vacancies on the Board of Directors.

One is for the expiring term of Tom Doore. He has requested the opportunity to serve another 3-year term. Tom Doore started on the board in 1994; has retired from the City of Augusta Fire Department, works for Maine DOT, and Charlie’s Motor Mall. He is an active member of his community, volunteers for Water Conservation, and many other honorable organizations.

The second is for the expiring term of Amanda Haskell. John Gregory had been appointed to finish her term and now has agreed to serve his own 3-year term. John is currently retired after serving as the CFO for CAFCU for seventeen years. His other volunteer organizations include the Augusta Kiwanis Club and the Friends of the Maine State Museum.

The Nominating Committee recommends the reappointment of both candidates.
